Looking for perfection, two of Abu Dhabi's electricity distributors Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (ADDC) and Al Ain Distribution Company (AADC) have created a joint committee to purchase the most advanced smart metering devices in their bit to upgrade their electrical network.

ADDC had embarked on a journey of grid development and renewal in 2016 together with Iskraemeco Middle East FZE after meeting all feature and function requirements. Iskraemeco will provide smart meters that will pave the way for the transmission to the IoT world. The smart meters will also be connected to the SEP2W head-end system platform installed at ADDC.
