Rowad Modern Engineering (RME) has significantly bolstered trade capabilities in Ain El Sokhna with the successful completion of Phase 1 of the DP-World Basin 2 Onshore Container Terminal. This milestone project marks a significant step forward in shaping the region's future in commerce and infrastructure. 

Through meticulous planning and its team's expertise, Rowad has overseen the expansion of the port's capacity to an impressive 1.75 million TEUs annually after Phase 1. With Phase 2 currently underway, the terminal is on track to reach a remarkable capacity of approximately 2.1 million TEUs per year upon completion. 

Spanning a vast area of 600,000 square meters, this vital project encompasses the construction of crucial terminal buildings, pavements, and an extensive underground network. Additionally, the project incorporates substations, a 2,720-meter-long RMG (Rubber-tired Gantry crane) rail system, and essential Yard Facilities.
