A new power transmission contract in Kuwait extends a decade of trust

Egytech Cables has signed a new contract worth KWD8.49 M ($28.1 M) with the Public Authority for Housing Welfare in Kuwait, where Elsewedy Electric has been entrusted with several key projects for more than a decade.

Under the contract, Elsewedy Cable (Egytech) will facilitate power transmission for El Mutlaa Residential City, which is one of the main projects executed by the Public Authority for Housing Welfare for the development, renovation, and creation of Kuwaiti national income alternative resources.

The project, which will be implemented over 18 months, on a turnkey basis, will see Egytech Cables focus on the design, supply, and installation of works related to 132KV ground cables.

Elsewedy Electric has over a decade-long working record in Kuwait and has implemented a lot of key projects in the country. Almost 60% of the HV cables in Kuwait were provided by Elsewedy Electric.
