Tanzanian President's Permanent Secretary (Investment) – Dr. Tausi Kida – together with her high-profile team, has honorably paid an official visit to ElSewedy Industrial Complex at Kigamboni – Dar es Salaam, on March 21^st, 2023.

During their tour, Managing Director for East Africa, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC (EE) – Eng. Ibrahim Qamar – has briefed Dr. Kida and her delegation on the milestones and witnessed the development proudly achieved by ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC in Tanzania. Qamar highlighted that since day one, EE took it upon itself to transform the country into a manufacturing hub for key products, like transformers and electrical cables, etching its prominent position in the African market. The company plans to qualify Tanzania to succeed Egypt in directly feeding such a stellar market with sought-after products.

On her visit to ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC's cables and transformers factory, Dr. Tausi Kida together with her team learned more about Kigamboni Facility's development plans, job opportunities, production capacity, along with targeted export markets.

Concluding the tour, the Tanzanian President's Permanent Secretary (Investment) stressed her country's keenness on seeing further projects implemented by ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC, successfully coming on stream to contribute to the nation's sustainable development. She affirmed her government's sincere endeavors in providing all the necessary support to ensure projects' execution is running flawlessly according to the pre-set timeframe.
