ELSEWEDY Cables Algeria has proudly collaborated with CJR Renewables to provide Torsa Wind Farm in Chile with 100% medium voltage cables. Out of two major US$ 2.9m projects, this project is being undertaken by CJR Renewables on behalf of their esteemed client, the Norwegian state-owned renewable energy company, Statkraft Chile.

Meeting their technical obligations and project’s timescale, ELSEWEDY Cables Algeria designed, manufactured, and supplied 31 KV XLPE insulated aluminum cables, with AL foil armored including bonding for the purpose of equal power distribution. The cables were specially manufactured under the most stringent international standards and are able to cover high-voltage power lines that transmit power over long distances.

May 2022 witnessed the signing of the official contract, with materials supply taking place from August to October 2022. The installation process is currently underway and is expected to be completed in a timely fashion.
