Elsewedy Electric Algerie welcomed the Minister of Commerce Mr. Saïd Djellab as well as the Governor of Ain Defla to its headquarters on 04 March 2019. The official visit included a presentation about the economic activities of the Department of Ain Defla, given by the Director of Industry and Mines. After the presentation, Elsewedy Electric’s General Manager, Mr. Mostafa Elhalawany gave a brief overview about our company and its different subsidiaries, to highlight our progressive growth and contribution in the economic development of the country by positioning Elsewedy Electric as "a valuable operator that maintains its assets over a long period through investments.”

Elsewedy Electric Algerie is the main exporter of electric cables in Algeria, as it provides the highest standards through the integration of the latest international technologies that meet all regulatory requirements. As such, the company covers local and export markets positioning itself as a strategic choice on the international level. Since 2014, Elsewedy Electric has exported 7000 tons of electrical cables that are compliant with the latest international standards, with a total value of $50 million.
