ELSEWEDY Technical Academy (STA) was acknowledged & honored by the visit of his excellency Dr. Reda Hegazy - the Minister of Education & Technical Education and Dr. Mamdouh Ghorab – Governor of Sharqia, where they took a tour of the STA campus and met the students with special needs, who are enrolled in the field of Ready-made Garment under the sponsorship of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank & European Bank for Reconstruction & Development.

During the Climate Conference that was held in Sharm El-Sheikh (COP27), STA signed 2 important agreements in the presence of Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy - Chairman of the Board of Trustees, ElSewedy Electric Foundation & Mr. Walid Gamal Eldin - Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone. The 1st agreement was MOU between Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), to provide the necessary support in order to raise the efficiency of technical labor in Green Hydrogen Projects, and other fields such as Logistics, Tourism Services, and Iron & Steel & the 2nd agreement was between Banque Misr & Elsewedy Electric Foundation,  witnessed by HE  Dr. Mostafa Madbouly - Prime Minister, to establish a new branch of (STA) in SOKHNA 360, to provide trained workers and support the new industries in the region.

STA celebrated 266 graduates of the STA class of 2022 during a ceremony held in PI Park & witnessed the closing ceremony for the Training for Employment (TFE) program, in collaboration with Sawiris Foundation and EGT Academy to train 200 youths in different fields & to employ them in one of the leading factories.

STA participated in the annual event of CAIRO ICT that took place at Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) New Cairo & EDU TECH (2nd edition) to show the success model of STA and to introduce the new flagship project Elsewedy University of Technology (SUT).

  To open the education path, ELSEWEDY ELECTRIC through ELSEWEDY Education of Technology (ED TECH)) aims to establish private universities of Technology across Egypt in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education & Scientific Research to provide Egyptian industries with highly qualified, trained, and skilled experts in technology. The 1st private technological University (ElSewedy University of Technology – SUT) is planned to run the first admission round in Fall 2023.

*STA is joining forces with various entities and organizations operating in Egypt and the Region, to promote and enhance technical and vocational education and training (TVET), through specific initiatives and projects tackling the needs of the labor market to enhance the quality of the workforce according to international standards.
