Elsewedy Electric, announced that its subsidiaries; Elsewedy Cables and Egytech Cables, in a consortium, have signed a new contract with the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC) for the supply and installation of 220 kV ground cables to connect Cairo North Station and Bahtim Substation.

The total project value amounts to EGP 192 M and will be implemented within 7 months on a turnkey basis.
