Elsewedy Electric was honored by H.E. Hon. President Samia Suluhu Hassan’s visit to the company’s meters factory, Iskraemeco, during her three-day business trip to Egypt in November 2021. H.E. Hon. President Samia Suluhu Hassan also visited the group’s state-of-the-art industrial complex PI Parks.

During her visit, Elsewedy Electric’s President and CEO Ahmed El-Sewedy briefed the president on the capabilities of the company and the mother group as well as its strategy to expand in Africa, which serves the Egyptian state’s strategy of strengthening bilateral relations between Egypt and its sisterly nations in Africa. The president also emphasized the role of Elsewedy Electric in transferring its expertise and building capacities to Tanzania.
