Elsewedy Turnkey Projects and Elsewedy Transformers have been awarded with ACCIONA/RTCC/PSP a project at Shuqaiq 4 Desalination plant with a scope of work that includes: supply and installation of HV, along with laying cable and accessories. In addition to testing associated to civil works, delivery to site, supply and installation of two HV Power transformers rated 106 MVA/ 110 kV.

The construction of phase 4 of the desalination plant that is located in Al Shuqaiq, on the Red Sea coast, 137 kilometers north of Jazan, Saudi Arabia. The plant, equipped with reverse osmosis technology will have a capacity of 400,000 cubic meters per day of water and is being developed under the ownership of Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC).
