Elsewedy Technical Academy (STA) signed two significant cooperation agreements during the recent EGYPES exhibitions 2024. These agreements pave the way for the establishment of two new Applied Technologies Schools in Matrouh – New Alamein and New Damietta Governorates.
The signings were witnessed by a distinguished panel including Eng. Ahmed Elsewedy, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Elsewedy Electric Foundation; Eng. Tarek El Molla, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources; Eng. Reda Hegazy, Minister of Education & Technical Education; General. Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh; Dr. Manal Awad, Governor of Damietta; and Mr. Mattia Campanati, General Manager of Eni Egypt.
The first school, located in Matrouh – New Alamein, will cater specifically to the growing hospitality industry. This targeted approach aims to equip graduates with the necessary skills to thrive in a sector experiencing significant development.
The second school, situated in New Damietta, will offer a wider range of study fields, focusing on in-demand areas such as logistics and welding. This diversification ensures graduates are prepared for a variety of promising careers.
This expansion by STA reflects the academy's commitment to bridging the skills gap in Egypt's workforce. By providing high-quality applied education, STA empowers individuals to pursue successful careers in critical sectors.
