Elsewedy Technology, led by Eng. Abdel Rahman El Sewedy has successfully developed the first Egyptian smart irrigation system with remote control. The smart irrigation system is equipped with the latest technology and is the proud outcome of the exclusive Egyptian expertise, a huge step in the smart irrigation market which was once monopolized by foreign companies only.

The giant Ain El-Sokhna factory that manufactures the center irrigation pivots; a cooperation between the National Service Projects Organization (NSPO) and Elsewedy Electric, will be producing “Elsewedy Remote Irrigation Sys – ERIS” system to enable efficient irrigation with minimal water, as well as monitor the cultivation of various crops remotely, facilitating the effective and cost-efficient management of large area crops.

The advanced system is also characterized by its conformity to all types of pivot irrigation structures regardless of their different manufacturers making it compatible with old or new structures.
